PL Pilates is a highly regarded pilates studio in Constantia run by pilates expert, Patricia Lamond. Over many years, her professional, dedicated attitude has built an excellent reputation amongst clients as well as referrals from the medical profession as one of the finest pilates studios in Constantia Cape Town and internationally.
You can choose virtual classes or classes at the studio in Constantia. The studio is very well equipped with Reformers, Trapezium, Chair, Barrels as well as small equipment.

causes neck issues, shoulder issues, hip issues, knee issues and
lower back pain. Pilates works on postural defects, stretching

Pilates
is an exercise method that focuses on developing core strength.
It works the deeper stabilising muscles of the body and corrects
muscle imbalance. It is low impact exercise which aids in
identifying and improving the weaker areas of the body. All the
exercises are executed with awareness and an understanding of
the body’s mechanics, ensuring that even the smallest movement

programme for you to do at home. The programme has become so
popular that this new module will continue post Covid-19.

Patricia attained certification from the internationally
recognised Stott Pilates Corporation in Canada. Her
understanding of both the body’s anatomy and the relationship
between the nervous system and muscles makes her a specialist in
the field of pilates.
Patricia has furthered her knowledge by attending postural
analysis and physiotherapy workshops. She has also worked with
teachers from the Romana Studios in New York, which is headed by
Romana Kryzanowsky, who was once a student of Joseph Pilates,
the originator of the discipline.
Her first book, Pilates, was translated into Spanish, French and
Afrikaans and became an international bestseller. Patricia is a
guest lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch and was invited
to advise and assist in the opening of pilates studios in
Bahrain.

Classes and Schedules
Live online classes also available for download.
Classes are currently available daily Monday - Friday. A live
zoom class is done daily and the class is then made available on
You Tube. You are sent a daily link via e mail for you to click
on and download. The class expires after 12 hours.
Cost
is R270 per week. Private classes are also available at R590 per class.
